About K8sCalc
K8sCalc is a free suite of Kubernetes and infrastructure tools — calculators, config generators, and provider comparisons — built by a DevOps engineer from real production experience.
Why We Built This
The question “how much will this Kubernetes cluster cost?” shouldn't take 30 minutes of spreadsheet work. Neither should “does this GPU have enough VRAM for that model?” or “what's the right Prometheus memory allocation for my cluster?”
K8sCalc started as a personal toolbox built while running production Kubernetes clusters on Hetzner Cloud — self-managed with kubeadm, Longhorn storage, HAProxy load balancers, Linkerd service mesh, ArgoCD, Temporal workflows, and a full Loki/Prometheus/Grafana observability stack. The infrastructure decisions were made by hand, with custom spreadsheets and mental math.
Those decisions deserve precise tools. That's what this site is.
